The Miss Universe Organization (MUO) is owned by JKN Global Group, a multinational conglomerate, in creating and advancing opportunities for women around the world through its network of relationships across entertainment, fashion and philanthropy. MUO encourages every woman to challenge herself, find her unique voice, and embody the organization’s mission of being Confidently Beautiful. The 10,000 or so women who participate in Miss Universe programs annually inspire others to pursue their personal and professional goals while making an impact in their communities. The MISS UNIVERSE®, MISS USA® and MISS TEEN USA®competitions provide contestants and titleholders an international platform through dedicated partnerships with global charities, sponsors, and brands. For more information, and to learn more about The Miss Universe Organization’s official global causes, please visit: www.missuniverse.com.

At the state level, contestants and state delegates have the wonderful opportunity to help raise awareness and/or funds for numerous charitable organizations such as the Race for the Cure (increasing awareness of early detection), DARE (to keep kids off drugs), Best Buddies (dedicated to enhancing the lives of people with intellectual disabilities by providing opportunities for one-to-one friendships), Girl Talk (mentoring program for middle school girls), Sparrow Clubs (people helping kids in medical crisis) and many others. The way we keep our organization running and able to provide contestants with such great opportunities is through sponsors. We ask that each contestant collect a sponsorship fee from local businesses, friends, family, organizations, etc. as part of her participation in this event. The sponsorship fee covers all of her expenses for the 2-3 day event including the workshops, hotel and meals and also helps out with the winners incredible prize package and expenses at MISS USA® or MISS TEEN USA® Pageant competitions.

This is a wonderful opportunity for each contestant to improve upon her inner-personal life success and interview skills needed for today’s demanding goals and challenges. Participants include those that want to build upon their educational goals as well as Models, Actors, Singers, Dancers and other talented young women of all types.
