Athena is a sophomore attending career tech high school. As a girl who has overcome severe anxiety and depression, Athena has a passion to help teens going through mental health struggles. She enjoys painting, volunteering at the local food bank and spending quality time with friends and family. Athena hopes to attend university of Washington after graduation with a possible major of business management

Amanda, is a 17 year old senior at Sandy High School with dreams to be an attorney. Recognized in her school and community for academic excellence and outstanding leadership on her school’s ASB council. Amanda is a varsity cheerleader who founded the Corbett Cheer Club to promote a positive environment for young girls. She tackles the Human Trafficking issue by educating teens on staying safe and giving smiles through her work with fostering hope.

A freshman at Portland Bible College studying Theology, Hallidae holds a lifelong passion for mentorship- serving as a youth mentor at her church, as the assistant producer for the  “ONE” conference,  and most recently as a dance teacher. Always up for adventure, she has an Advanced Open Water Scuba Certification and is working towards the completion of her Pilot’s License. With her devotion to mentorship, Hallidae plans to become a youth counselor in the future.

Lauren is a 16-year old sophomore at Wilson High. She’s a scholar athlete who plays basketball and soccer, hunts and fishes. Lauren has a passion for special education. She has volunteered five days a week for three years in a middle school special needs classroom and develops this passion by mastering American Sign Language and playing basketball with special needs high schoolers. She plans to become a teacher, likely in special education.

Madison, 15, is freshman at Gresham High School. She plays the saxophone in the school band and is a gymnast, starting her 6th competitive season. She enjoys camping, hunting and fishing as well as movies, museums and just hanging out with her friends. She enjoys modeling and wants to become an actress.

Megan Kindle is a 17-year old senior at Tualatin High school where she is involved in Varsity cheer and golf.  Megan is active in her community volunteering on the student advisory board for Abby’s Closet and the Kind Is Better campaign.  Megan will be attending the University of Oregon in the fall of 2020 majoring in environmental science.  Megan is passionate about promoting climate change and hopes to someday become a Chief Sustainability Officer.

Mira is a 15-year old senior at Connections Academy. As a young woman who strives for expertise in all areas- from dancing to creating music to doing the utmost in school- she’s aiming to place herself in the police force and delve into detective work. She is an advocate of the 504 Plan, which allows teens with obstacles in their lives to continue the standard curriculum with personalized accommodations to help them succeed.

Shayla Montgomery is an 18- year old college sophomore who is pursuing her career of becoming a Dermatologist. As an avid volunteer, she is recognized as the Prudential Spirit of Community Awards Oregon representative through her platform, Teens Speak Life, a movement that cultivates self love and combats bullying alongside her campaign, #Standup. Shayla also enjoys spending time with family, being a woman in S.T.E.M., and traveling.
